When Weary

Retire
Tired fool
What dark spirit hides inside of you
What weary soul lurks the corridors of your heart
In search of food, in search of truth
Return to the love

Of your youth
Return

Rest
Rest, exhausted bones
Why persist in falling on your own
Stumble to your knees and find you're right at home
Remember your prodigal place
Rejoice at your Father's face
Rejoice

Sleep
Child, beloved sleep
When will you lay your burdens down to
Drink once and for all from these waters deep
Put down your earthly strife
Taste the bread of life
Taste
